Burgeoning Canadian hearthrob and leading Torontois crooner A. Dick Nowakowski saunters into L.A. for an evening of Spanish-language folk songs, the likes of which have not been seen since his idol Mel Torme gave us his famous "Dos nachos" jam session in 1967. Though he is anglophone by birth and doesn't speak a word of Spanish, one taste of Dick's velvety voice will have you believing that he was raised on the streets of Guadalajara. Dick will be performing new songs from his all-Spanish release "el cuarto blanco". Where the lyrics may stumble, the haunting melodies pick up the slack. Admission is free, although Dick asks for donations to his Fajita Fridays Fund
