A. Dick Nowakowski to Challenge Pogo Stick Record

Canadian transborder stuntman Dick Nowakowski will attempt to break the world pogo stick jumping record of 177,737 consecutive jumps on February 11, 2005 at Lafayette Square in downtown Buffalo. His feat will be in support of the ongoing efforts to revitalize business in the city of Fort Erie and allow it to one day surpass its American neighbour. Nowakowski has spent the past 11 months mastering his pogo stick jumping form in preparation for this assault on the record, as has already gone as high as 112 consecutive jumps without falling.
